The Pre-School Staff

Ryan Foulkes is the leader of the pre-school. Ryan has a BA Honours Degree in Working with Young Children and their Families. He has worked in various settings gaining experience with children from the age of 6 months to 11 years old. He his Forest School trained and very enthusiastic about making the most of learning outdoors as well as supporting children to become independent thinkers and problem solvers.

Kelly Jones is the deputy leader of the pre-school and has over 9 years childcare experience. She has gained her Cache level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. Kelly is the named first aider. Kelly is currently completing her CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years advanced Practitioner qualification.

Suzanne Millington is the pre-school assistant and has 7 years childcare experience. She has gained her Cache Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. Suzanne is pre-school SENCO, and she is currently completing her CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years advanced Practitioner qualification.

Judy Miller is a pre-school volunteer.
Elaine Hughes is a pre-school assistant who has recently joined the setting having worked at Wistanstow CE Primary School for many years. Elaine is experienced in a wide range of aspects of supporting children. She knows the families well, often having worked with parents of the children in the setting now. Indeed, she has many memories of pre-school leader, Ryan Foulkes from his time at Wistanstow School!Alison Dodd is a qualified teacher who covers when needed at the pre-school. Alison is a talented musician who enriches the curriculum through singing and music.
Kirsty Foulkes is a volunteer at the pre-school. She is a qualified teacher with a degree in Early Years Education and many years experience leading schools and integrating pre-schools into schools. Her own career started at Wistanstow Under Fives (many years ago!) and she is now enjoying being a hands-on grandma to two grand-daughters (a third on the way) whilst training for Ofsted. Marianne is a pre-school volunteer who has two twin boys who attend Wistanstow Under Fives. She has childcare qualifications and experience and supports across the curriculum.
